We believe that disconnection isn’t a failure. It’s a signal.
Boston RE Society exists to give people space to listen inward again.
We bring people together through creativity and reflection—helping them reconnect with what matters, and supporting them in offering that care outward to the community.
We help people figure out what they still care about—and help them offer it to others.
Our approach is simple—and deeply human.
Showing up is the first brave act.
People come to our workshops and gatherings just as they are—curious, uncertain, or quietly searching.
COME.
Through art, culture, and shared reflection, people explore their stories, passions, and lived experiences. Creation becomes a mirror.
CREATE.
As people create, perspective shifts.
They reconnect with parts of themselves that may have gone quiet—finding clarity, purpose, and renewed confidence.
CHANGE.
When people are ready, we help them take the next step outward.
Using their passions and skills, they offer workshops, experiences, or acts of care to others in the community—with our support and coordination.

What this can look like
Someone may come to our art workshop after years away from creative practice.
Through painting, reflection, and conversation, she reconnects with a part of herself she thought was gone.
Later, she realizes she wants to share watercolor painting with elderly neighbors—but doesn’t know where to begin.
